Cortina d‟Ampezzo, one of Italy‟s most famous tourist destinations, is situated in the far North East corner of the Veneto region, 72km from Belluno and only 44km from the Austrian border, in close proximity to the region of Trentino-Alto Adige. Cortina - called the Queen of the Dolomites is an elegant winter and summer resort at the heart of the Dolomites. Part of the Dolomiti Ski Circuit, there are some 1200km of linked pistes - you could never ski the same run twice! Summer is geared up for true alpinists and is also a great family resort with lots of organised activities for the children.
